Job Description

• Summary: 
  Logic Information Systems is a fast-growing project-centric consulting organization and an Oracle Retail implementation partner, which specializes in solving our clients' business problems with expert technology implementations and custom software development and integration services.
  Primary Responsibilities: 
  Develop technical expertise in Java for prescriptive and/or customized software implementations
  Follow standard practices and procedures to analyze situations and data and deliver technical solutions on applications and technology installations
  Structure and perform analysis, and conduct primary research, to uncover the insights that support our recommendations to clients
  Develop presentation and client leadership skills
  Present at team and client meetings, and determine the most practical way to drive lasting results based on insights
  Contribute to your practice area through identification and creation of implementation focused deliverables
  Complete required weekly administrative tasks including, individual status report and time and expense entry
  Qualifications: 
  • 6 - 7 years of development experience in Java
  • Solid technical skills in Core Java (Java 7 and Above)
  • Strong knowledge in building data pipelines using Apache Spark framework.
  • Strong knowledge in Big Data technologies Hadoop, and Hive.
  • Hands on and in depth knowledge in any one of technology like Spring boot and Spring 4 frameworks (Dependency injection, MVC, JDBC and Restful services).
  • Candidate who has strong knowledge in Annotation based configurations in Spring framework.
  • Strong knowledge in implementing Restful web-services.
  • Amazon web services, Cloud Foundry, Redshift and Postgres database knowledge will be added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge on the OOAD
  • Must have Maven build tool experience.
  • Basic knowledge on the .Net technologies would be an added advantage ? For converting the existing ETLs and UI code behinds
  • Exposure to Agile development specifically SCRUM
  • Bachelor degree
  • Self-motivated, tenacious with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Passion for learning and a desire to develop technical and consultative skills
  • Effective written and verbal communications to work collaboratively with project and practice teams and client stakeholders
