We are looking for a skilled API Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Rest Assured, Selenium, and Postman. As part of the Infosys delivery team, you will ensure high-quality design, development, validation, and support of software systems, helping clients achieve their digital transformation objectives.
Responsibilities

Perform Design, Development, Validation, and Support activities to deliver high-quality solutions.

Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into detailed system specifications.

Contribute to work effort estimation and provide inputs to Technology Leads and Project Managers.

Develop, execute, and maintain API automation scripts using Rest Assured, Selenium, and Postman.

Apply Agile testing methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.

Perform SQL validations for backend testing.

Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automation tests into delivery processes.

Enhance and maintain automation frameworks for efficiency and reusability.

Prepare defect reports, test documentation, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
Technical & Professional Requirements

Strong experience in API Automation using Rest Assured, Selenium, and Postman.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Proficiency in Agile Testing practices.

Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation.

Experience in automation framework usage and enhancement.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
