• Job Description:

  The role involves the development and application of engineering practices in designing, managing, and improving processes for industrial operations, including procurement, supply chain, facilities engineering, and maintenance. The candidate will also be involved in project and change management for industrial transformations. This role requires working independently, applying problem-solving skills, and collaborating with teams and clients to deliver efficient solutions.

  Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Testing:

     • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for industrial operations software and applications.

     • Validate system functionality, reliability, and performance through automated tests.

     • Identify defects and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.

  2. Process Improvement & Management:

     • Apply engineering knowledge to optimize industrial operations processes.

     • Support procurement, supply chain, and facilities management through effective testing and process automation.

     • Contribute to project and change management initiatives for industrial transformation.

  3. Collaboration & Customer Focus:

     • Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases.

     • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

     • Interact with clients to interpret needs and ensure quality delivery.

  4. Documentation & Reporting:

     • Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

     • Report testing progress, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong experience in Automation Testing (tools like Selenium, UFT, or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of Industrial Operations processes including supply chain, procurement, and facilities engineering

  • Understanding of project and change management principles

  • Proficiency in test scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar)

  • Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
