Job Description

• Key Responsibilities:

  Test Automation Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java
  • Create robust test automation frameworks for web applications
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
  • Implement data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches

  Project Lifecycle Involvement:

  • Actively support consulting teams across all project phases including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment
  • Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality deliverables

  Solution Research & Innovation:

  • Explore alternative testing solutions through comprehensive research including literature surveys, public domain information analysis, and vendor evaluations
  • Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new testing tools and frameworks
  • Evaluate and recommend automation tools and methodologies

  Requirements & Process Definition:

  • Create test requirement specifications from business needs
  • Define testing processes and detailed test designs based on functional requirements
  • Develop test strategies aligned with project objectives

  Issue Resolution & Quality Assurance:

  • Configure test solution requirements on various products and platforms
  • Diagnose root causes of test failures and application defects
  • Identify and shortlist solution alternatives for testing challenges
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality standards

  Organizational Contributions:

  • Contribute to unit-level and organizational testing initiatives
  • Provide high-quality, value-adding testing solutions to customers
  • Support clients in their digital transformation journey through robust QA practices

  Mandatory Technical Skills:

  Core Automation Technologies:

  • Automation Testing - Strong experience in test automation principles, frameworks, and best practices
  • Selenium - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for automated web testing
  • Java - Strong programming skills in Java for test script development and framework creation
