• Job Description:

  We are hiring a skilled Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and Java, with at least 3 years of experience in automation testing. As part of the Infosys Consulting Team, you will play a key role in validating the functionality, performance, and stability of enterprise applications through automated testing strategies.

  You will work in collaboration with development and consulting teams to ensure software quality throughout the development life cycle, helping clients navigate their next phase of digital transformation.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in various phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution design, and deployment.

  • Evaluate alternative tools and techniques through research, literature review, vendor comparisons, and create proof-of-concepts (POCs).

  • Analyze business needs, define testable requirements, and create detailed test strategies and scenarios.

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on web applications.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and isolate test failures using logs and technical analysis.

  • Collaborate with developers to identify bugs early and improve product quality.

  • Contribute to continuous integration/continuous testing processes and organizational quality initiatives.

  Technical Skills Required:

  • Selenium WebDriver (Java)

  • TestNG / JUnit

  • Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling)

  • Automation Frameworks (Hybrid / POM / Data-driven)

  • Maven, Jenkins (for CI/CD)

  • Git / Version Control

  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and database queries (SQL)

  • Cucumber (BDD Framework)
