Job Description

• Key Responsibilities:

  Test Automation & Quality Assurance:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java
  • Execute automated test suites across different phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution

  Project Lifecycle Support:

  • Actively support consulting teams across project phases including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment
  • Create test requirement specifications from business needs and functional requirements
  • Define testing processes and detailed test designs based on project requirements

  Research & Solution Development:

  • Explore alternative testing solutions through research including literature surveys, public domain information, and vendor evaluations
  • Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) for testing frameworks and tools
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools and methodologies

  Issue Resolution & Analysis:

  • Configure test solution requirements on various products and platforms
  • Diagnose root causes of test failures and application issues
  • Identify and shortlist solution alternatives for testing challenges
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues

  Quality & Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to unit-level and organizational testing initiatives
  • Provide high-quality, value-adding testing solutions to customers
  • Support clients in their digital transformation journey through robust testing practices

  Mandatory Technical Skills:

  Core Testing Technologies:

  • Automation Testing - Strong experience in test automation frameworks and methodologies
  • Selenium - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web application testing
  • Java - Strong programming skills in Java for test script development

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  Technical Competencies:

  • Test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber)
  • Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)
  • API testing tools (REST Assured, Postman)
  • Database testing and SQL knowledge

  • CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, Maven)
