  We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join our Multi-Cloud Gateway development team. This role involves building and enhancing S3-compatible storage solutions that empower customers to interact seamlessly across multiple cloud environments. You'll work in a collaborative setting alongside architects, engineers, and global support teams to create innovative, secure, and scalable storage solutions.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the development of the Multi-Cloud Gateway platform.

  • Enable seamless use of S3-compatible storage buckets across cloud platforms.

  • Take full ownership of product quality through:

    • Peer code reviews

    • Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices

    • Proactive security vulnerability mitigation

  • Collaborate with team leads, architects, and engineers to define product architecture and technical requirements.

  • Provide technical support in coordination with IBM?s global customer and partner teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Linux environment

  • Strong development experience in Golang, Node.js/JavaScript, C, or C++

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or OpenShift

  • Knowledge of virtualization and distributed systems

  • Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality
