- Job Description
- Skills on Mainframe application development using CICS, JCL, DB2 and VSAM, API and Webservices, Test Driven Development, Test Automation and Test Frameworks, Micro services design patterns plus DevOps pipeline engineering.
- Knowledge and skills in end to end application development and supporting seamless upgrade projects for Tier 1 Complex applications in production.
- Skills to lead small/medium complex projects for specified application area taking full end to end ownership.
- The skills and knowledge required to experiment for solutions using a mix of technology. Ability to complete proof of concept testing of the solution and populate backlogs for a concept in short span of time.
- Good broad knowledge of Agile working patterns and frameworks such as Lean, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban and associated tools.
Build people capability to ensure operational excellence and maintain superior customer service levels of the existing account/client- Mentor and guide Production Specialists on improving technical knowledge
- Collate trainings to be conducted as triage to bridge the skill gaps identified through interviews with the Production Specialist
- Develop and conduct trainings (Triages) within products for production specialist as per target
- Inform client about the triages being conducted
- Undertake product trainings to stay current with product features, changes and updates
- Enroll in product specific and any other trainings per client requirements/recommendations
- Identify and document most common problems and recommend appropriate resolutions to the team
- Update job knowledge by participating in self learning opportunities and maintaining personal networks
