  • We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and optimize ETL solutions for enterprise-scale data integration projects in the finance and capital markets domain.
  • The role demands strong technical skills in Ab Initio and related technologies, along with the ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  Locations: PAN India
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs using components like Rollup, Scan, Join, Partition (by key/by round robin), Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup
  • Configure Ab Initio standard environment parameters, GD (PDL, MFS concepts), and EME basics
  • Produce Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and collaborate with testers and PMO
  • Work on multiple source systems and targets, handling daily and monthly batch schedules
  • Develop and support complex frameworks for multiple data ingestion patterns (messaging files, hierarchical/polymorphic XML structures, canonical models)
  • Implement Plans and Conduct>It for orchestration and scheduling
  • Provide 3rd-level support and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Collaborate on data modeling (CDM, LDM, PDM) using tools like Erwin, PowerDesigner, MagicDraw
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC, QA processes, and agile methodologies
  Required Skills:
  • Ab Initio: Graph development, PDL, meta-programming, Plans, Conduct>It, Express>It (preferred)
  • Database: SQL proficiency, DB load/unload utilities, experience with Oracle, DB2, Teradata
  • UNIX: Shell scripting (must), utilities like sed, awk, perl, python
  • Scheduling Tools: Control-M, Autosys, Maestro, TWS, ESP
  • CI/CD: Knowledge of Jenkins and automation concepts
  • Capital Markets Domain: Understanding of derivatives (IRS, CDS, Options), structured products, and fixed income
  • Data Modeling: Experience creating CDMs, LDMs, PDMs
  • Strong understanding of Ab Initio interaction with hardware ecosystem
