Job Description

• Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, reusable integration solutions for Guidewire PolicyCenter aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop and expose Guidewire Edge APIs for external consumers (account, policy, user management, etc.).
  • Build and maintain REST APIs and Web Services to integrate Guidewire with external systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (business, QA, offshore teams) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop transactional, account, and user-management integrations with strong reconciliation handling.
  • Utilize Guidewire EDGE Layer for hosting and consuming web services.
  • Handle batch processing, message queues, and event-driven integrations within Guidewire.
  • Perform data integration, testing support, and data migration activities using Guidewire APIs and models.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and integration patterns.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and act as a technical owner in Agile teams.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot integration issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor offshore development teams when required.
  • Collaborate using source control tools and Agile tracking tools.
  • Apply strong insurance domain knowledge, especially Commercial P&C insurance, to solution design.
