Job Description

• Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for building and operating production-grade Generative AI solutions on AWS.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of GenAI platforms, from design and development to deployment and operations.
  • Design and implement Generative AI applications using AWS Bedrock, including Bedrock Agent Core SDK and foundation model integrations.
  • Build scalable AI workflows using AWS Strands SDK, including multi-agent orchestration.
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques and agent-based architectures for real-world use cases.
  • Develop reusable AI components, APIs, and backend services using Python.
  • Optimize model performance, response latency, token usage, and cost for production workloads.
  • Work with LLM concepts including embeddings, prompts, tokens, latency considerations, and cost factors.
  • Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector stores and grounding strategies.
  • Select and justify appropriate AI models (open-source vs proprietary) based on business and technical needs.
  • Design and develop AWS-native applications using Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2, API Gateway, ALB, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, and OpenSearch.
  • Implement secure IAM roles and policies following least-privilege principles.
  • Build event-driven and microservices-based architectures on AWS.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
  • Establish end-to-end observability using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and custom metrics for AI workloads.
  • Monitor AI system behavior including latency, cost, error rates, and reliability.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous system optimization.
  • Ensure secure handling of data, encryption at rest and in transit, and secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager or Parameter Store.
  • Follow enterprise standards for data privacy, AI governance, and responsible AI usage.
  • Mentor team members and support best practices across development and operations.
