We are hiring experienced Mainframe Developers with 2?6 years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related mainframe technologies, and the ability to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level applications.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and development environments.

Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure application reliability.

Maintain and optimize existing mainframe applications for performance and scalability.

Follow SDLC and Agile methodologies for project delivery.
Key Skills

Core Skills: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2.

Additional Technologies: VSAM, IMS, MQ Series, TSO/ISPF.

Concepts: Mainframe architecture, batch and online processing, OOP concepts (if applicable).

Tools & Practices: Debugging tools, source code management (Changeman/Endevor), unit testing.

Additional (Preferred): Exposure to modernization projects (Mainframe to Java/.NET), Shell scripting, Agile/DevOps practices.
