- We are inviting applications for the role of Manager - Data Science!
- This role is part of the Analytics Enablement team and is responsible for leading strategic data science projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving impactful insights across business units. You will lead a team of data professionals, ensuring delivery excellence and innovation in AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a data science roadmap that aligns with business priorities, ensuring projects deliver measurable impact and support strategic goals.
- Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of data science projects, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Manage team performance, provide mentorship, and foster a culture of innovation.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and ethical AI standards.
- Drive adoption of advanced analytics and AI solutions across business units.
- Prioritize projects, allocate resources effectively, and manage risks.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and best practices to guide strategic initiatives.
Minimum qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. Relevant experience in leading data science projects.
2. Preferred qualifications:
3. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
4. Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
5. Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment best practices.
6. Technical skills:
7. Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data processing and modeling.
8. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. Ability to lead projects independently and deliver under tight timelines.
