Job Description

  • Job Description 
    • Administer and manage Wipro LAN & WAN networks globally as part of the Global Network Project Implementation Team
    • Implement and configure network devices including routers, switches, NMS tools, and Wi-Fi devices
    • Work mainly with Cisco devices and also Avaya, Brocade, and other OEMs
    • Configure and implement network devices as per security hardening guidelines and project requirements
    • Troubleshoot network and security issues based on defined project scope
    • Implement network infrastructure for new Offshore Development Centers (ODC) with required security and redundancy
    • Implement network infrastructure for new enterprise projects
    • Set up ODC connectivity using MPLS, Client-to-Site VPN, and Site-to-Site VPN (router-based)
    • Handle network implementations for project movements within Wipro locations
    • Establish point-to-point links and set up network infrastructure for new Wipro locations
    • Design and implement LAN, WAN, and Internet architectures
    • Coordinate with ISPs, clients, and onsite technical teams for MPLS, VPN, P2P links, and troubleshooting
    • Validate network design plans submitted by design teams and provide technical recommendations
    • Work with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
    • Configure MPLS (VRF configuration) and switching protocols
    • Handle STP, QoS, and other switching technologies
    • Follow ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 standards and Wipro IRMC guidelines
    • Execute tasks following incident, change, and capacity management processes
    • Lead and participate in S0 calls and major outage resolution activities
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle high-priority tasks
