Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    • Own end-to-end technical leadership for Azure Storage control-plane initiatives
    • Drive architecture, design, and delivery of highly scalable, resilient storage platforms
    • Research and deep-dive into complex distributed systems challenges and failures
    • Set and enforce quality-first engineering standards across the stack
    • Collaborate cross-org to deliver critical Azure Storage features globally
    • Define and influence the long-term technical direction of Azure Storage
    • Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for live-site reliability and recovery
    • Mentor and guide engineers through design playbooks, reviews, and best practices
    • Monitor systems, handle on-call duties, and lead incident resolution and postmortems
