  As an Automation Test Engineer at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in the Design, Development, Validation, and Support of solutions that ensure high-quality delivery in the technology domain. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and contribute to building efficient, scalable, and automated testing systems.

  Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure effective execution of design, development, validation, and support activities in line with client expectations and delivery standards.

  • Gather and analyze system requirements by interacting with stakeholders and translate these into test cases and testing frameworks.

  • Participate in the estimation of effort and timeline for automation projects, aiding Project Managers and Tech Leads.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using industry-standard tools, with a preference for Selenium.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

  • Contribute to the digital transformation journey of clients through reliable and scalable test automation.

  Additional Responsibilities:

  • Apply design principles and architecture fundamentals to create maintainable testing solutions.

  • Understand performance engineering concepts to evaluate application behavior under load.

  • Translate functional and non-functional requirements into testable system requirements.

  • Write and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.

  • Apply knowledge of quality processes, estimation techniques, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and testing trends.

  • Demonstrate logical thinking, analytical ability, and strong collaboration skills.

  Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in Automated Testing, preferably using Selenium

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and automation frameworks

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins)

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
