Job Description

• Responsibilities :

  •     Design, develop, and maintain reusable, modular, and scalable test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  •     Perform performance testing using tools like Locust or k6.
  •     Build and maintain web automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  •     Plan, manage, and execute test automation activities within project timelines.
  •     Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or LambdaTest.
  •     Ensure application compatibility across browsers, platforms, and devices.
  •     Conduct API testing and automation using Postman, REST-assured, or Request libraries.
  •     Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as per project guidelines.
  •     Manage test efforts using Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
  •     Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including automation strategy, test cases, execution logs, and defect reports.
  •     Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align automation strategy with project goals.
  •     Research and adopt best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve test efficiency, scalability, and coverage.
  •     Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  •     Extensive experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or QA Automation Engineer.
  •     Strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript (Python knowledge is a plus).
  •     Hands-on experience with web and mobile test automation frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium).
  •     Proficiency in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android), particularly those built with React Native.
  •     Familiarity with web applications developed using React/Next.js.
  •     Solid experience in API testing and automation.
  •     Good knowledge of databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) with ability to write queries for testing.
  •     Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, LambdaTest).
