Job Description

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Schedule aligned with project timelines.
  • Define test scope, entry/exit criteria, and environments for FUT, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing.
  • Identify and document testing dependencies (e.g., data, interfaces, environments).
  • Lead a distributed offshore testing team (functional/QE) for daily execution activities.
  • Coordinate with onsite test managers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders for test progress and issue resolution.
  • Ensure proper test data creation, environment readiness, and test case preparation in CALM / QMetry.
  • Monitor test execution progress, report KPIs, and escalate issues proactively.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle (logging, triaging, retesting, and closure).
  • Conduct defect triage meetings with functional, technical, and business teams.
  • Track defect trends and ensure adherence to SLA for defect turnaround.
  • Publish daily/weekly status reports, including test execution summary, defect metrics, and risk areas.
  • Support test exit reviews and sign-off documentation for each testing phase.
  • Ensure testing documentation complies with audit and quality standards (e.g., SOX, GxP if applicable).
  • Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and coordinate with automation engineers.
  • Review automation POC results and support regression test suite maintenance.
  • Drive continuous process improvements in testing methodology, templates, and reporting.
