Job Description

• Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, and maintain a scalable Selenium automation framework from scratch using Java, TestNG, and Maven.
  • Define and implement automation strategies, standards, and best practices to ensure long-term framework stability and maintainability.
  • Plan automation scope, effort estimates, entry/exit criteria, and deliverables across sprints and releases.
  • Lead and execute automated test suites with a focus on timelines, quality, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Integrate reporting, logging, screenshots, retry mechanisms, and cross-browser/parallel execution.
  • Drive CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous and scheduled test execution.
  • Own defect triage, root cause analysis, and test stabilization activities.
  • Lead daily stand-ups, mentor automation engineers, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Conduct detailed code reviews and enforce Git branching, coding standards, and version control best practices.
  • Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage and readiness.
  • Communicate directly with client stakeholders, providing status updates, demos, risk analysis, and escalation management.
  • Prepare and maintain automation documentation, including strategy, test plans, run books, and guidelines.
  • Track and report automation metrics such as coverage, pass rate, flakiness, defect leakage, and execution efficiency.
  • Continuously improve automation effectiveness by analyzing ROI and optimizing processes and tools.
