Job Description

• Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and support Ab Initio ETL solutions across the full solution lifecycle (requirements to production).
  • Perform ETL design, development, code reviews, UAT support, migration, and production deployment.
  • Coordinate with customers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Develop ETL graphs using Graphical Development Environment (GDE) for complex business scenarios.
  • Utilize Ab Initio Co>Op, EME, Continuous Flows, Control Center, Conduct>IT, and advanced components.
  • Manage Enterprise Meta Environment (EME) including version control, dependency analysis, sandboxes, and commands.
  • Implement various parallelism techniques (data, pipeline, component) to optimize performance.
  • Handle job installation, scheduling, and monitoring using the latest Control Center versions.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading in enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Review FSD and business requirement documents and provide estimates and project timelines.
  • Size, estimate, and groom stories following Agile methodologies.
  • Develop automation and monitoring ETL jobs and optimize performance.
  • Implement design patterns and create Unix shell wrapper scripts for complex transformations.
  • Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Work extensively with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Shell scripting.
  • Mentor and groom junior team members on Ab Initio technology and production support practices.
