Job Description

• Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual + automation).
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, UI, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Create and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide clear bug reports.
  • Ensure test coverage for new features and existing functionality.
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Work with DevOps to integrate tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Provide regular status updates and contribute to process improvements.
