  We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer / QA Lead with strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber Framework, and API testing. The role involves leading automation efforts, creating test strategies, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in Agile environments.

  Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end testing within a project, including functional and regression testing.

  • Design and implement test strategies aligned with project scope and organizational standards.

  • Create, review, and get approval for software test plans from relevant stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for UI and API testing using Selenium and REST Assured.

  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testing, TCOE, and Agile teams.

  • Work on JSON message validation and server platforms (Windows/Linux, physical or cloud).

  • Manage and track defects, test progress, and documentation using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

  • Use version control tools (e.g., Git) to manage test scripts and collaborate with the team.

  Skills Required:

  • Core Java programming and object-oriented concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium UI Automation and BDD Cucumber Framework.

  • API testing experience using REST Assured or similar Java libraries.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.

  • Experience with functional and regression testing, with automation leadership experience.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and Agile tools.

  • Payments domain knowledge is preferred.

  • Strong coordination, estimation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Experience with JSON, server platforms, version control, and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, Git).
