Job Description

• Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using Rockwell FactoryTalk Optix.
  • Develop GUI, animations, and runtime configurations.
  • Work on OptixPanel hardware setup, configuration, and firmware upgrades.
  • Implement visualization, HMI screens, and real-time data monitoring.
  • Integrate MES systems with PLCs, sensors, and shopfloor devices.
  • Implement OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus communication protocols.
  • Work with SCADA, MES, and Quality Gate systems.
  • Design modular, scalable, and maintainable architectures.
  • Support OT/IT integration and data acquisition.
  • Implement event-based triggers and device communication.
  • Work in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe).
  • Use GitLab for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and follow TDD principles.
  • Work with global cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
