Job Description

• Job Description:
  • Monitor and support Java Web / Enterprise applications in a production environment and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot application issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity failures, deployment errors, and integration problems.
  • Work with Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture to investigate and resolve system-level or service-level issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and ensure timely resolution with proper documentation.
  • Manage and support database systems such as Oracle and MySQL, including validating queries, monitoring performance, and coordinating with DB teams.
  • Utilize ORM tools efficiently to analyze data-level issues and maintain service integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth application functioning and optimized performance.
  • Provide sizing, scalability, and optimization recommendations for improvements in system performance and reliability.
  • Manage workload using Kanban methodology and operate in a ticket-based production support model to track incidents, requests, and enhancements.
  • Assist in deployments, environment validation, and post-release support activities.
  • Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting are in place for all critical services.
  • Maintain documentation for production issues, resolutions, and process updates to improve system understanding and reduce future incidents.
