Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at the client end, ensuring all deliverables meet 100% quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning & Design
-
Understand test requirements and contribute to the design of test cases for the product.

Author test plans based on business requirements and corresponding testable requirements.

Implement Wipro?s model-based testing approach to achieve efficient test generation.

Ensure peer review of test cases to reduce rework.
-
Collaborate with development teams to identify and capture test cases and maintain version control.
-
Define testing criteria, parameters, scope/out-of-scope, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
2. Test Execution & Automation

Automate the test life cycle process using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, and other relevant tools.

Design and execute the automation framework and reporting mechanisms.

Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios, and executing them.

Ensure all test defects are logged with clear description and replication steps according to project norms.

Detect and report bugs, prepare defect reports, and track test progress.

Ensure on-time delivery of test execution without any rejection or slippage, meeting Wipro/customer SLA standards.

Design and release test status dashboards at the end of each cycle to stakeholders.

Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks.
3. Status Reporting & Customer Focus

Maintain high-quality client interactions via emails, calls, and reports, following proper business etiquette.

Ensure on-time deliveries of Work Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management repository.

Update accurate efforts in project trackers such as eCube, TMS, and others.

Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring zero internal or external complaints.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, and test execution.

Experience with automation frameworks, GUI automation, and scheduling tools.

Ability to identify and document defects clearly and accurately.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quality assurance skills.
