• Job Description:
  To design, develop, and execute test cases and automation scripts ensuring the quality and performance of products or platforms before deployment, meeting 100% quality assurance standards.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Test Planning and Design

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into testable technical requirements.

  • Design and document comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Leverage Wipro?s model-based testing approach for efficient test generation.

  Test Execution and Automation

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure full test coverage.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts (e.g., GUI automation, VB macros).

  • Set up and manage test environments, execute test cases, and validate results.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and define in-scope/out-of-scope criteria.

  Defect Management and Reporting

  • Identify bugs, log defect reports with detailed replication steps, and track progress.

  • Ensure defect logging aligns with Wipro and customer norms.

  • Provide timely and accurate testing reports and dashboards after each test cycle.

  Process and Quality Compliance

  • Conduct peer reviews of test cases to reduce rework and improve accuracy.

  • Deliver work items as per SLA without rejections or slippage.

  • Ensure proper tracking and reporting in project management tools like eCube and TMS.

  Client Interaction and Communication

  • Maintain professional communication through email, status reports, and calls.

  • Respond promptly to client queries and ensure no internal/external complaints.

  • Regularly update stakeholders with test progress and findings.

  Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and quality assurance principles.

  • Experience in test automation and scripting tools (VB macros, GUI automation, etc.).

  • Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools.

  • Good communication, documentation, and customer interaction skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in Agile or Waterfall environments.
