• Job Description:

  To prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at the client end, ensuring it meets 100% quality assurance parameters and business requirements.

  Key Responsibilities:

   Test Design & Planning:

  • Understand testing requirements and design comprehensive test cases.

  • Create detailed test plans based on business and testable requirements.

  • Define scope/in-scope and criteria for testing, including UAT involvement.

  • Apply Model-Based Testing (MBT) as per Wipro?s test framework.

   Execution & Automation:

  • Execute test cases manually and via automated scripts.

  • Use VB Macros, GUI automation, or other tools to automate the test lifecycle.

  • Design and implement automation frameworks for reporting and validation.

  • Setup environments, create scenarios, and execute usage-based tests.

  • Detect, log, and report bugs with detailed replication steps.

  Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare defect reports, test progress updates, and dashboards after every cycle.

  • Ensure defect norms and quality standards are maintained.

  • Track efforts and testing progress in tools like eCube, TMS, etc.

   Customer Collaboration:

  • Deliver high-quality test reports, WSRs, dashboards, and UAT outputs.

  • Maintain professional communication with clients (emails, calls, fault tracking).

  • Ensure no delays or escalations due to test quality or delivery lapses.

  • Test management tools (e.g., Jira, QC, ALM)

  • Automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)

  • Programming basics (preferably in Java, VB, or Python)

  • Experience in preparing dashboards and reports

  • Strong communication & documentation skills
