The Maximo Mobile Specialist will manage the complete lifecycle of the Maximo Mobile application, including setup, customization, support, and upgrades. This role ensures seamless integration with IBM Maximo, enhances mobile functionalities using React.js and JavaScript, and provides support and training to end-users across iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities

Configure and customize Maximo Mobile applications using the Maximo Application Framework (MAF).

Extend mobile app functionality using JavaScript and React.js to align with Maximo workflows.

Oversee mobile app deployment and configuration for both Android and iOS platforms.

Modify XML presentation files to enhance UI, add fields, and adapt workflows.

Define and customize Object Structures and custom attributes for mobile use.

Develop and integrate custom features into Maximo backend systems.

Manage and configure Query Object Structures and Query Definitions.

Implement offline data handling using SQLCipher and ensure secure synchronization.

Monitor and troubleshoot data sync issues, mobile performance lags, and log errors.

Resolve support tickets related to mobile bugs, integration issues, or user errors.

Provide user assistance, mobile setup support, and conduct training sessions.
Professional & Technical Skills

Strong expertise in JavaScript and React.js for Maximo Mobile customization.

Deep understanding of Maximo Application Framework (MAF).
-
Proficient in configuring Maximo Object Structures, Queries, and UI customization.
-
Experience with SQLCipher and SQLite for offline mobile data management.
-
Working knowledge of Maximo integration and backend connectivity.

Familiarity with Docker for containerized deployments of Maximo environments.

Solid troubleshooting and performance monitoring in mobile environments.

Skilled in user training, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Maximo.

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in MAS Mobile customization.

Strong exposure to MAS development tools and environment setup.

Bachelor?s degree (15 years full-time education) in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.

Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and app deployment processes.

Ability to balance development, configuration, and support tasks efficiently.
