Job Description:

We are seeking Software Engineers with back-end web application and systems-level experience to join our Fabric Development Team. Our team is passionate about innovation and leading in the cloud marketplace, ensuring IBM Cloud remains at the cutting edge of technology ? from API design and application architecture to flexible infrastructure services.

The Fabric Development Team is central to IBM?s broader development efforts. Developers collaborate with stakeholders across teams to solve complex problems and build impactful products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative products and services supporting infrastructure operations.
- Design, develop, and implement object-oriented PHP applications from prototype through deployment.
- Integrate open-source and commercial enterprise applications into exposed APIs and web portals.
- Create highly scalable and performant REST/SOAP web services.
- Maintain focus on end-user needs throughout development.
- Collaborate closely with product management and stakeholders to meet expectations.
- Uphold the highest levels of technical discipline and excellence to set standards for the wider development organization.
Required Education
- Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Solid skills in Object-Oriented Design and Development.
- Experience developing API Interfaces.
- Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience writing and debugging C code.
