• Job Description:

  As a Data Engineer at IBM, you will harness the power of data to uncover insightful patterns and narratives. You?ll play a critical role in data gathering, storage, and processing?both in batch and real-time environments. Your work will influence the selection of data management systems and contribute to solving complex challenges in database integration and unstructured data.

  In addition, you will also specialize in designing and implementing Business Process Management (BPM) solutions using tools like Appian, IBM BPM, Pega, or Camunda, playing a key role in automating and optimizing business workflows.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient BPM applications using Appian and other BPM platforms.

  • Automate manual business processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, developers, stakeholders) to define and implement business workflows.

  • Integrate BPM applications with enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, etc., using APIs and web services.

  • Troubleshoot, test, and optimize BPM applications for stability and performance.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for process designs, configurations, and technical specifications.

  • Support and maintain deployed BPM applications.

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Appian software development and BPM design.

  • Strong understanding of database concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with major databases like Oracle SQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.

  • Experience with BPM tools such as IBM BPM, Pega, Camunda, etc.

  • Proficiency in integrating BPM solutions with enterprise systems via APIs and web services.
