Job Description

  • Job Description:

    We are seeking an Application Developer to lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an Agile environment. You will collaborate globally, integrate code into enterprise systems, and drive innovation by delivering API and microservice solutions using IBM API Connect.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, design, and maintain APIs and microservices in line with business requirements.

    • Create and maintain documentation related to API design, development, and administration.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IBM API Connect.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless API integration.

    • Mentor and train team members in procedural and technical topics.

    • Act as a team player, contributing to knowledge sharing and process improvement.

    • Ensure adherence to API design standards, best practices, and governance.

    Skills Required

    Core Technical Skills

    • Hands-on experience with IBM API Connect, including Developer Portal, API Manager, and Developer Toolkit.

    • Strong knowledge of web services and API technologies, including REST applications.

    • Experience in microservices design and implementation.

    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve API-related technical issues.

    • Experience documenting API architecture, design, and development processes.

    Professional Skills

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    • Ability to work effectively as a team player.

    • Ability and skill to train and mentor team members.

    • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to quality
