Job Description

• Job Description:

  The purpose of this role is to design, program, simulate, and test automation products or processes to achieve the required efficiency and effectiveness.

  Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Analysis & Design

  • Analyze software requirements, current technology architecture, and system interdependencies.

  • Formulate and submit project plans for approval.

  • Consult with stakeholders to review objectives and operating procedures.

  • Contribute to automation roadmap design and process improvements.

  • Research and develop new automation solutions and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries.

  2. Development & Execution

  • Prepare environments, test plans, test cases, and execute test scenarios.

  • Develop technical specifications and resolve complex design issues.

  • Conduct design activities for functional and non-functional automation requirements.

  • Implement and track key metrics for requirement coverage.

  • Identify, track, and resolve defects with comprehensive documentation.

  • Design and update automated testing tools for efficiency and accuracy.

  • Develop efficient programs adhering to Wipro standards and best practices.

  3. Communication & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to define acceptance criteria and maintain a test automation backlog.

  • Work with development teams to improve continuous deployment practices.

  • Partner with SMEs to design and deploy automation solutions.

  • Ensure system maintainability through proper documentation.

  • Provide support to testers and technical personnel for quick problem resolution.

  • Stay updated on industry standards and incorporate them into projects.

  Performance Parameters:

  1. Automation: Quality of design, adherence to project plan, timely issue resolution, zero deployment errors, proactive risk management.

  2. Documentation: Complete and accurate process documentation, test cases, debug data, and performance reviews as per quality standards.
