• Job Description: 

  Responsibilities:

  1. Design and automate Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RH OCP) test suites to ensure platform reliability.

  2. Adopt a client-first mindset to test at scale, replicating customer-like environments.

  3. Develop strategies and scripts to test new features and functionalities effectively.

  4. Contribute to and review code for both internal and external repositories.

  5. Document processes, test plans, and procedures clearly for reproducibility and transparency.

  6. Collaborate and interact with counterparts in IBM US/Germany teams and Red Hat.

  Required Education:

  • Bachelor?s Degree (Mandatory)

  • Preferred: Bachelor?s Degree

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 5 to 12 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Comfortable working with major Linux distributions (Red Hat, SLES, Ubuntu), preferably on Z systems (s390x).

  • Ability to guide and mentor high-performing team members and juniors.

  • Strong understanding of virtualization and containerization concepts; experience with z/VM and KVM preferred.

  • Experience building automation pipelines using Jenkins, Prow CI, and Tekton.

  • Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or Ansible (preferred).

  • Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, tools, and processes.

  • Self-motivated, strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively within a global, multi-office team environment.
