  Infosys is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Java. As part of our dynamic consulting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our enterprise solutions through automation testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value business solutions.

  Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in the entire software testing lifecycle, from planning to execution and closure.

  • Understand business requirements and create functional and automation test cases.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium and Java.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues.

  • Perform root-cause analysis for identified defects and support quick resolution.

  • Work with stakeholders to provide effort estimation, risk analysis, and test planning inputs.

  • Build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for proposed test automation solutions.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and organizational best practices.

  • Participate in unit-level and organizational initiatives focused on improving service quality and delivery efficiency.

  Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong experience in Selenium with Java-based frameworks (like TestNG, JUnit, Maven).

  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and continuous integration pipelines.

  • Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
