Job Description

• Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the consulting team across various project phases including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to validate business requirements.

  • Create requirement specifications from business needs and translate them into detailed functional and test designs.

  • Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate automation frameworks or tools.

  • Configure test environments, identify issues, diagnose root causes, and propose effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and continuous testing initiatives.

  • Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives, ensuring delivery of high-quality, value-adding solutions to clients.

  Required Skills (Mandatory)

  • Hands-on experience in Automation Testing with Selenium and Java.

  • Strong knowledge of TestNG/JUnit frameworks.

  • Experience in writing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts.

  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.

  • Knowledge of REST API testing and tools like Postman/RestAssured.

  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).

  Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave).

  • Knowledge of SQL for test data validation.

  • Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
