  Infosys is hiring skilled Automation Test Engineers with strong hands-on experience in Selenium and Java. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about test automation, quality assurance, and delivering reliable, scalable enterprise software.

  Roles & Responsibilities:

  As a member of the Infosys consulting team, you will:

  • Engage in various project phases such as:

    • Problem analysis

    • Effort estimation

    • Test solution design and deployment

  • Conduct research and evaluate alternatives to propose optimal testing solutions:

    • Literature and online research

    • Vendor tool assessments

    • Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs)

  • Define test strategies and write detailed functional test cases and scripts

  • Automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver integrated with Java frameworks

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in test scripts or environments

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

  • Contribute to internal initiatives for improving testing standards and automation coverage

  Technical Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Selenium WebDriver

    • Java programming for automation

    • TestNG or JUnit

    • Maven, Jenkins, and Git

  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum, Bug tracking tools (JIRA, etc.), and defect lifecycle

  Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform testing

  • Knowledge of frameworks like Cucumber or BDD (optional)

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms is a plus
