  We are hiring an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on skills in Selenium and Java. As a part of the Infosys consulting team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions by implementing effective automation strategies and frameworks. This role is crucial to help our clients drive efficiency in their digital transformation journey.

  Responsibilities:

  • Participate in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, test planning, execution, and deployment.

  • Perform research and evaluation to propose alternative automation tools and frameworks.

  • Create and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks using Selenium and Java.

  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear test cases and scenarios.

  • Identify root causes of issues, perform impact analysis, and propose effective solutions.

  • Build and validate POCs to demonstrate automation feasibility and performance.

  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) initiatives.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

  • Support internal knowledge sharing, process improvement, and innovation initiatives.

  Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

  • Strong understanding of test frameworks (TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber is a plus).

  • Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps pipelines.

  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting automation failures.

  • Good communication, analytical thinking, and team collaboration skills.

  • Exposure to tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle is a plus.
