As a part of the Infosys Consulting team, your primary role is to support all stages of the software testing lifecycle. From requirement gathering and test design to automation development, execution, and reporting, you?ll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define robust testing strategies.
Design and develop test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects in a timely manner.
Perform root-cause analysis and work closely with developers to resolve identified issues.
Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Evaluate and recommend alternative solutions or approaches by conducting research, building Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and assessing tool feasibility.
Participate in defining the to-be testing processes and contribute to test automation framework enhancements.
Ensure adherence to quality processes and help drive continuous improvement initiatives at both team and organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium with Java.
Knowledge of testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
Familiarity with build and CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, or similar.
Good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
Exposure to API testing and test management tools like Postman, JIRA, or HP ALM is a plus.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
