We are hiring experienced Automation Test Engineers with a strong background in Selenium and Java to join our consulting team. As part of Infosys' digital transformation initiatives, you will design, develop, and execute automated test solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the consulting and development teams during various phases of the project including:
Problem definition
Effort estimation
Solution design
Automation implementation
Deployment and testing
Design and develop robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for validating business requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using automated tools.
Conduct research and evaluation of testing tools and frameworks; build POCs as needed.
Identify test scenarios and maintain traceability between test cases and business requirements.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and suggest resolution strategies.
Ensure proper integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
Contribute to team-level initiatives, including knowledge sharing, process improvement, and tool upgrades.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and Java for test automation.
Good understanding of test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or Cucumber.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Postman, or REST Assured is a plus.
Basic understanding of SQL for database validation.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Self-driven with a proactive approach and commitment to quality.
