We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Java to join our consulting team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Collaborate with the consulting team in different project phases including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution design, and deployment.
Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
Execute automated and manual tests to validate application functionality, performance, and security.
Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers for resolution.
Research and explore alternative solutions through literature surveys, public domain information, and vendor evaluations.
Build proof of concepts (POCs) for proposed automation frameworks or tools.
Participate in requirement gathering, process definition, and functional design discussions.
Contribute to organizational initiatives to deliver high-quality, value-adding solutions to clients.
Key Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java for test automation.
Proficiency in creating and executing automation scripts.
Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
Knowledge of build tools like Maven and version control systems like Git.
Understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
