  Job Description:

  We are looking for skilled Automation Test Engineers with expertise in Selenium, Java, and C# to join our dynamic consulting team. As part of Infosys, you will play a key role in developing and executing automation test strategies to ensure the highest quality of software delivery.

  You will work alongside project teams and clients to deliver value-driven testing solutions across digital transformation initiatives.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the consulting team across various stages of the project including:

    • Problem definition

    • Effort estimation

    • Solution design and deployment

  • Explore alternate solutions through research, literature surveys, and vendor evaluations.

  • Create detailed requirement specifications and translate business needs into functional test scenarios.

  • Build proof of concepts (POCs) to validate proposed solutions.

  • Configure and validate test environments based on solution requirements.

  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose corrective measures.

  • Participate in unit-level and organizational-level initiatives to continuously improve delivery quality.

  • Support agile development processes by participating in sprints, reviews, and retrospectives.

  Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing

  • Proficiency in Selenium

  • Programming experience in Java and/or C#

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit

  • Experience with test automation in CI/CD pipelines

  ---

  Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with BDD tools (like Cucumber or SpecFlow)

  • Exposure to API Testing (Postman, Rest Assured)

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud-based testing platforms
