Job Description:
The Ecosystem Engineering Technology Engineer plays a pivotal role in enabling IBM partners to integrate, resell, and co-create with IBM?s strategic technologies. You will collaborate with ecosystem partners in technical sales engagements and solution development, facilitating their adoption of IBM products in embedding, sell-to, resell, and influence scenarios.
This role is part of a dynamic, cross-functional team that delivers unique co-creation experiences, helping partners accelerate and scale their solutions leveraging IBM?s technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

Support partners in deal execution, co-selling, and embedding IBM technology into their solutions.

Collaborate with Ecosystem Engineering Solution Architects to validate technical feasibility and define solution architectures.

Co-create joint solutions, assets, and prototypes using IBM Technology platforms.

Utilize modern engineering tools and practices to design, develop, test, and deliver scalable solutions.

Specialize in one or more IBM technology areas to provide deep technical expertise and guidance.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field)
Preferred Education:

Bachelor's Degree (Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus)
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
-
Expert-level knowledge of IBM Business Automation Suite (CP4BA), including:
-
Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Business Process Management (BAW)
-
Process Mining
-
FileNet
-
-
Strong understanding of Generative AI, preferably with hands-on experience using the IBM watsonx platform (or equivalent solutions).

Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks is a plus.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage partners and internal teams effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience working in partner ecosystems, ISVs, or channel environments.

Familiarity with cloud-native development and deployment models (e.g., Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift).

Prior experience co-developing or embedding technology in third-party solutions.
