• Job Description:

  Design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client end, ensuring 100% quality assurance parameters are met.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Requirements & Design:

  • Understand requirements and design of product/software
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes
  • Investigate problem areas following software development life cycle
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and problem statements
  • Analyze client requirements and convert to feasible design
  • Collaborate with functional teams and systems analysts for detailed investigation
  • Confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities

  Development & Coding:

  • Determine operational feasibility through analysis and evaluation
  • Develop and automate processes for software validation
  • Set up and design test cases/scenarios/usage cases and execute them
  • Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance
  • Analyze information to recommend installation of new systems or modifications
  • Ensure error-free code with no bugs and test failures
  • Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities and status
  • Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation

  Client Management & Reporting:

  • Capture requirements and clarifications from clients for quality work
  • Take regular feedback to ensure smooth and on-time delivery
  • Participate in continuing education and training on best practices
  • Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces
  • Document solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments
  • Ensure quality interaction with customers via email, calls, business etiquette
  • Provide timely responses to customer requests with no complaints
