Job Description

• Responsibilities :

  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
  • Configuration Management: Implement configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate the setup and maintenance of servers and applications.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues and system outages.
  • Containerization: Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to enable efficient application deployment and scaling.
  • Security: Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and ensure the security of infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and provide DevOps support throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure and applications and optimize system performance for better efficiency and scalability.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Design and implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and system resilience.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  Preferred qualifications :

  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or Bash).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and repository management tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
  • Familiarity with security tools and practices for DevSecOps implementation.
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
