Job Description:
This role involves the development and application of engineering practices to define, configure, and deploy industrial digital technologies such as PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). The focus is on managing continuity of information across the engineering enterprise?including design, industrialization, manufacturing, and supply chain?and on managing manufacturing data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Continuity & Manufacturing:
Deploy and configure industrial digital technologies (PLM, MES) for information continuity.
Ensure seamless data management across design, manufacturing, industrialization, and supply chain processes.
Engineering Expertise:
Develop competency in digital continuity and manufacturing solutions.
Share knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues and junior team members.
Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality solutions.
Client Interaction & Problem Solving:
Interpret client needs and translate them into actionable engineering solutions.
Identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations and generate solutions.
Contribute to teamwork and collaborate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing:
Support the improvement of engineering processes through digital solutions.
Provide recommendations and insights based on domain expertise.
Skills & Profile:
Strong understanding of PLM and MES systems.
Experience in digital continuity practices across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.
Ability to interpret client requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Strong collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills.
Experience in deploying and configuring industrial digital technologies in real-world projects.
