Job Description

• Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and organizational leadership in building and shipping large-scale enterprise products or highly available cloud services.
  • Build strong relationships with product management, design, and cross-functional leadership to align strategy and execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders (project managers, technical leads, PMs) to define and clarify user requirements across teams.
  • Lead the team in identifying dependencies and developing design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
  • Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, and overall ROI.
  • Guide teams in creating project plans, release plans, and tracking work items in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Serve as an expert DRI (Designated Responsible Individual) and oversee on-call operations, monitoring systems for degradation, downtime, or interruptions across multiple product lines.
  • Lead product development, scaling solutions to meet customer and business requirements while ensuring performance goals are met.
  • Hold accountability for product quality and performance, ensuring solutions meet enterprise-grade expectations.
  • Manage and grow a team of Engineering Managers (EMs) and Software Engineers (SWEs), fostering career growth and delivering impactful results.
  • Drive engineering strategy and execution across multiple layers of the tech stack (native, web, service, UX, machine-learning models, data).
  • Leverage knowledge of existing Microsoft 365 foundational technologies to accelerate product development and integration.
  • Apply Product-Led Growth methodologies to drive adoption, engagement, and monetization of Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences.
  • Foster an inclusive, growth-oriented engineering culture focused on customer value, innovation, and measurable impact.
