Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Guidewire Developers to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with one or more Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and a strong foundation in insurance processes, integration, and software engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Work on development, configuration, and integration of Guidewire applications (Policy / Billing / Claims / Integration / InsuranceNow / Portal / Rating)

Develop and optimize batch jobs, messaging, GxModels, and web services
-
Customize and extend Guidewire workflows, particularly in billing and claims integration

Integrate with third-party systems and tools like Xpressions, Thunderhead
-
Manage Admin data loading, document templates, and related configurations
-
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance complex business processes and rules using Gosu scripting
-
Design and maintain integrations with Oracle, SQL Server, or other RDBMS
-
Participate in SCRUM Agile teams for sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
-
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions

Drive continuous improvement in design and coding practices
Technical Skills Required:
-
Strong hands-on experience with one or more Guidewire products:
-
ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, InsuranceNow, or Guidewire Rating

Good understanding of:

Gosu scripting
-
Web Services (SOAP/REST)

GxModel, Messaging, Batch Processing

XML, Thunderhead, Xpressions

Solid experience with databases: Oracle / SQL Server, including complex SQL queries

Experience designing/modifying workflows and integrations in Guidewire

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology (Scrum Master certification a plus)

Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance workflows

Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills

Ability to mentor junior developers and lead small project teams

Able to work autonomously and manage complex technical deliverables
