• Job description:

  As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions and applications. You will apply scientific and engineering principles to solve complex software challenges and contribute to the creation of high-quality, scalable, and robust systems. This role requires independent problem-solving skills, collaboration, and the ability to contribute to both technical and administrative aspects of software development.

  Key Responsibilities:

  1. Apply scientific and engineering methods to analyze and solve real-world software engineering problems.

  2. Develop, design, maintain, and optimize software systems across the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

  3. Utilize best practices in software engineering standards, tools, and methodologies.

  4. Exercise independent judgement and original thinking in software design and implementation.

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a team player, contributing to team goals and product quality.

  6. Continuously build and improve software engineering skills through learning and application within Professional Communities.

  7. Support junior team members and may supervise small tasks or modules.

  Grade-Specific Expectations:

  • Minimum 1+ year of relevant software development experience.

  • Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design principles, and modern development practices.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and produce accurate, reliable results.

  • Capable of handling a range of tasks and challenges, applying skills across varied domains.

  • Manages time effectively and delivers results within mid-term project timelines.

  • Makes thoughtful decisions based on situation awareness, not just predefined rules.

  • Demonstrates strong collaboration and communication skills, having a positive impact on team performance and project delivery.
