About the Role:
As an ORMB Technical Consultant at Infosys, you will play a critical role in delivering enterprise-grade billing and revenue management solutions using Oracle Revenue Management and Billing. Working as part of a high-performing consulting team, you'll contribute across all phases of the project lifecycle?from problem definition to design, development, testing, and deployment. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of complex digital transformation initiatives for global clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Support various phases of project delivery including requirement gathering, effort estimation, solution design, development, and deployment.

Evaluate solution alternatives based on research, vendor inputs, and public resources; create Proofs of Concept (POCs) when needed.

Define business and functional requirements; document ?to-be? processes and technical solutions.

Configure ORMB components and diagnose root causes for issues encountered during implementation.

Develop and maintain inbound/outbound batch interfaces and APIs for system integrations.

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value.

Contribute to internal initiatives focused on improving delivery practices and solution quality.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB).

Strong development experience in:
-
Java, SQL, HQL, XML, JSON
-
Oracle Database, JavaScript
-
RESTful APIs, Web Services, SOAP
-

Deep understanding of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) including:
-
Maintenance Object (MO), Business Object (BO), Business Services
-
Business Components, Service Scripts, Plug-in Scripts
-
BPA Scripts, Zones, UI Map, Portals, SQ Rules, Rate Configuration
-

Experience in:
-
Developing and scheduling batch jobs (inbound/outbound)
-
Implementing Algorithms and Change Handlers
-
Building APIs to integrate ORMB with external systems and customer portals

Knowledge of ORMB functional domains including:
-
Customer Management
-
Pricing
-
Billing
-
Payments
-
Transaction Financial Management (TFM)

Familiarity with OBIEE or other reporting tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Expertise in Oracle Industry Solutions → Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB)
