  • Write, test, and debug PL/SQL code including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, and indexes.

  • Perform data manipulation operations including data loading and extraction.

  • Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.

  • Support database maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and query tuning.

  Technical and Professional Requirements:

  Primary Skills:

  • Oracle Apps Technical → Oracle Apps PL/SQL

  Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle Apps Technical → Oracle Apps PL/SQL → PLSQL

  Additional Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming.

  • Good understanding of Oracle database architecture, including tables, views, and stored procedures.

  • Knowledge of SQL tuning techniques and query optimization.

  • Experience with database objects like cursors, collections, and exception handling.

  • Basic understanding of database security models and data integrity constraints.

  • Familiarity with version control for database scripts (e.g., SVN, Git).

  • Ability to use Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, or Toad.
